Leopard Lodge Steakhouse

I love the bush setting. The restaurant was full, and the atmosphere and service was good. Those of us who ordered steak were really happy with our meals Beautifully cooked... the best steak I've had in a long time. The roast vegies and chips were also perfectly done. Those who ordered other meals (the Ox Tail, the Durban Curry etc.), however, were disappointed. So choose your meal carefully... The sweets were just average.

This is more than just a restaurant it’s a warm & welcoming experience. I had the ox-tail & it was Sooo Good. I dont know why it took us so long to return. The Service & friendly staff here made us feel we were amongst friends. Topped off with yummy Sweets, coffee & great value . Thank you staff ! we really had a nice night & it was very nice to meet you .

My partner and I both had steak meals. I ordered the eye fillet and he ordered the rib eye. I ordered chips and salad and he ordered chips and yellow rice. Both of our steaks were cooked beautifully. It was the first time I had ever ordered medium and the first time he had ordered medium-rare. Both were perfect! I must say it's the first steak meal EVER where the portions were perfect! Not too much chips or salad and the first time EVER I was able to finish my meal due to this fact. It was our first time here and we were both impressed. I ordered two different milkshakes - the lime and the strawberry - both were delicious 😋 we went Friday night and it was a full house. Simple but effective place, food and service. Well done Leopard Lodge!

A very enjoyable experience, the hospitality was amazing with attentive friendly service from the moment we walked in. The steaks were cooked perfectly and served with delicious sides, I highly recommend the chips. The restaurant also had a live singer this evening who was very talented and his singing complemented the meal nicely without overpowering the ambience. The only minor issue was that the food was delivered to the table one plate at a time and with 9 of us dining it meant that the first person had almost finished by the time the final person’s meal arrived.

Amazing place! Visiting Perth and we’re looking for South Aftican joint that does good steak, came across Leopard Lodge. Drove 45 mins from Perth City, feels like we are driving to the safari and almost got lost as it was dark. Found it at last and it was simply such an amazing experience, atmosphere, friendly hospitality by Theresa and Mark plus awesome food. We ordered the platter plus ribs just perfect for the two of us. We tried to celebrate our 22nd anniversary tonight at the Leopard Lodge, an Authentic African Restaurant just north of Perth. Everything was fine until we placed our order for our main meals and more drinks. We waited around 30 minutes and still nothing. Then we went to ask about our drinks thinking the main meals will arrive soon. They admitted that they completely forgot about us. After another 15 minutes our drinks arrived. We then waited another 30 minutes before we flagged down someone to ask about the main meals. It appeared as if they also forgot to place our order for the mains. We waited another 15 minutes and my wife's meal arrived. After about another 10 minutes my meal arrived but the steak was cooked " well underdone" with blood still coming out from it after I ordered medium to well done. I do think this can be a very nice restaurant but the owner should at least own up to his mistakes and admit when he is in the wrong. He tried to hide it by claiming our order was in the queue, but people that came way later than us, got their food way before us. Not a good experience at all. I am more disappointed in the management for not apologizing for their obvious mistake. We will not be back soon and I will advise our friends to stay clear. It could've been a good experience tonight but sadly it was not.

Come here a few times. Very small restaurant but the staff are always very friendly. Food is always fresh and tasty However serving time can be a long wait during busy times or if you come in a group. Had the share platter before but found this fine the serving size had definitely decreased. The decor inside is very African and plenty to look at. Over all, great family run restaurant
